Genius FRANK WILSON produced and wrote for the album as well as songs by DAVID PORTER/ISAAC HAYES, LEWIS SISTERS (wrote for H.B.Barnum, Patrice Holloway, Martha & Vandellas, Sweet Inspirations etc) and They did a killer version of Starr's own "Oh How Happy" that he wrote for Shades Of Blue. They were very successful with duet records in 67-68 so they paired her with EDWIN STARR. She was getting the Motown treatment to become their next big star. She moved to Detroit to work with Motown and released one 45 in 1968 with amazing B side written by ED COBB ("TAINTED LOVE", "BREAKAWAY", CHOCOLATE WATCHBAND etc). She released both Gospel with THE COGIC SINGERS (BILLY PRESTON,GLORIA JONES) & Secular Soul records on Atlantic, Veejay & more while living in LA in the mid 1960s. Everyone knows EDWIN STARR (as they should) but BLINKY a.k.a SONDRA WILLIAMS is still being discovered. EDWIN STARR & BLINKY "Just We Two" 1969 Tamla (Gordy U.S.) FRANK WILSON PRODUCTION! MOTOWN - we don't need another SUPREMES reissue, FREE BLINKY FROM THE VAULTS! This LP is one of the best Motown albums released.
